Log Cabin Visitor Information Center

Known around town simply as “The Log Cabin,” our Visitor Information Center is also a historic building. It was built in 1930 as a guest house on a private property in Seaview Heights. Donated to the City of Edmonds in 1975, the cabin was relocated to its current location that year. The rustic little building became the headquarters for the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce and the Visitor Information Center. The Chamber office is now located across the street, but the cabin still serves as a charming spot for visitors and residents to stop by for maps, recommendations, tourist information, and conversation with a friendly volunteer.

Hours

The Visitor Information Center is generally open from 10am to 4pm Monday thru Friday and on Saturdays from 10am to 2pm. Actual hours depend on volunteer availability.

Merchandise

Looking for the original “Edmonds Kind of Day” bumper sticker? This is the spot! You can also find coffee mugs, postcards, keychain flashlights, and more. New inventory coming in early 2023.

Volunteer

Affectionately referred to as “the Loggers,” our Log Cabin Volunteers are friendly Edmonds locals who love helping people and showing off our charming city. Does that sound like you, too?
