In response to requests from the Edmonds community for reserved handicapped parking and parade viewing the Edmonds Chamber has been able to locate both thanks to our wonderful business community.

Handicapped parking will be available in the Coastal Community Bank parking lot (123 – 3rd Avenue South) from 7:00 am – 3:00 pm.

Reserved handicapped parade viewing has been generously provided by Greg Hoff at Windermere Edmonds located at 210 – 5th Avenue South. They will reserve sidewalk space in front of their business before all the chairs descend on the sidewalks. Viewers will need to bring their own chairs or blankets, but the space will be reserved.

For those with mobility issues who wish to watch the 4th of July fireworks show may use the basketball court adjacent to the Edmonds Boys & Girls Club on Civic Field.  The remainder of the park is an uneven grass field and may not be very accessible for those in a wheelchair or with mobility issues.

Join us for the evening fireworks show at Civic Field (598 Edmonds St) to watch the professional fireworks display burst overhead.  You are seated only 300’ away from the show, so get ready to ooh and ahh as over 900 fireworks burst directly above.  NOTE: personal fireworks are banned in all southwest Snohomish County and carry a $500 fine.  Please come to our show and follow the ban, risk of fires is especially high this year with the dry conditions.  Stay safe.

Starting at 10:00 pm we will have the national anthem sung by Royce Napolotino and then light up the skies.  Come early to find parking, set out your chairs and grab a meal at one of our local restaurants.

Additional information about “An Edmonds Kind of 4th, including parade route maps are available online at www.EdmondsFourth.com.
