2021 REGISTRATION NOW OPEN (9/12/2021)

Another beloved Edmonds community event announces cancelation due to COVID restrictions and the uncertainty around the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce’s ability to survive into 2021 is still in question.

“Each of the community event we produce for our community are important to the viability of the Edmonds Chamber.” said Greg Urban, President & CEO of the Edmonds Chamber.  “As each event is canceled, we lose important revenues to keep our small nonprofit going.”

The Edmonds Classic Car Show was set to celebrate the 20th anniversary but it looks like that will have to wait until 2021.  Each year the event brings over 325 classic vehicles to the downtown Edmonds streets as thousands of visitors walk thru town marveling at the unique and shiny vehicles.

“As one of the founding members of the ‘Edmonds Classic Car Show’ (previously named ‘Hot Autumn Nites’), I am pretty sure the this great event in our Edmonds community will be better than ever once we get beyond this pandemic virus.” said Bruce Nickolson, a community member who has planned and participated in the Car Show since the beginning.  “So, hang on to your ‘Big Boy Toys’ and we expect to see you return to the Edmonds Classic Car Show as soon as we resolve this ‘Virus Issue’.”

Each event produced by the Edmonds Chamber relies on some amazing community volunteers.  These volunteers help with planning, recruitment, marketing and staffing of the events.  Without their help and passion, the Edmonds Chamber’s small staff of three couldn’t do so much for the community.

“It’s a disappointment to have to take a pass on the 20th year of such a wonderful community event.” said Brady Wright, volunteer car show chair since 2015. “But we are committed to a glorious return of this landmark show in 2021.  Mark your calendars now and we’ll see you all next September!”

We hope our community understands and rallies around the Edmonds Chamber to ensure its survival.  So far over 390 people have donated towards our $100,000 fundraising goal, getting us 1/3rd of the way there.  Please consider donating to the “An Edmonds Kind of Hero” campaign by visiting www.SupportEdmonds.com.  Your donations will ensure these amazing event return in 2021.
