SCORE “Counselors to America’s Small Business” is a nonprofit association dedicated to educating entrepreneurs and the formation, growth and success of small business nationwide. SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) provides counseling services to small businesses. We provide one-on-one counseling, events and seminars, and referrals to other resources and sources of assistance.

The SCC Small Business Accelerator exists to help entrepreneurs start-up, plan, expand, or grow their small business. Our program consists of classroom instruction, limited free one-on-one counseling, and a Marketing Lab.

All businesses operating in the State of Washington must obtain a Washington State Master Business License. The Master Business License registers the business for state tax purposes and registers the trade name. A Uniform Business Identification Number, called a UBI Number, is assigned.
